Villa Beaulieu

Overview

Brief

Villa Beaulieu was returning in 2026 with several histories inside it: an 1868 guesthouse, a twentieth-century villa, and the alpine clinic that cared for St. Moritz for more than eighty years. The site had to unite those lives without becoming nostalgic or institutional.

Strategy

We organized the narrative around the building’s chronology—pension, villa, clinic, villa again—then let the present-day residence unfold through rooms, cultural spaces, gatherings, and mountain rituals. History gives the project authority; the house’s new life gives it warmth.

System

Archival restraint meets the feeling of a home assembled over time: quiet typography, hairline structure, generous images, rich materials, and space for both the interiors and the Engadin landscape. Nothing behaves like a generic luxury-hotel template.

Result

The journey moves naturally from atmosphere to intent: thirteen keys, Le Bar, Le Jardin, the Brasserie, the programme, private gatherings, and direct reservation. Practical information stays close, while the villa feels personal before it asks to be booked.

What we shaped

Story
Three distinct lives organized into one clear, present-tense narrative.
Hospitality
Rooms, cultural spaces, and mountain rituals presented as one house—not an inventory.
